The "Joseph" Foundation - through its active programs - offers children in difficulty a very large range of services.
     Here are some of our most important services:

• Preventing child abandonment and children from ending up on the streets
• Reintegration of children in school
• Counselling parents and children
• Long term assistance for children and families
• Social reintegration of children in foster families
• Preparing and evaluating the situation of children proposed for adoption
• Working towards the de-institutionalization of children in orphanages by giving them the opportunity of having a normal family life;
• Granting medical, psycho-pedagogical and social assistance during the period of preparation for the social reintegration of the child in a foster family (3 - 6 months)
• Intervening in the commission for the protection of children and even in court for protecting children's rights
• Training professional foster mothers - program developed in partnership with DGPDC Iasi.

     In order to be able to offer this wide range of services, we have:

• Our own Child Protection and family placement Centre
• Our own resources Centre

     In offering these services, our Foundation promotes strategies based on the following principles:

3. Ensuring a family atmosphere for each and every child;
4. Making the community responsible as far as children are concerned;
5. Promotion of solidarity with children in need ;
6. Development of partnership between organisations which act in the interest of the child.
