This is the program that accomplishes our wish of preventing child abandonment.      This is also one of our permanent programs. Its goal is to counsel child-parent relationship in order to diminish the risks that threaten the child's well-being. This kind of social work is one of the responsibilities of our Social Centre and is taken care of by our specialists (psychologists, social workers, lawyers, Christian counsellors).      Unfortunately, we can not give an exact

number of the cases where we have intervened and stopped the child from ending up on the street. But even if we haven't strictly monitored these cases,

there are still situations which brought us the greatest satisfaction.      The quality of these services can be proven by the fact that we have never met any of these children in any of our other programs. They are all AT HOME now.      This program also deals with child-foster parent counselling, as well as with the preparation of the abandoned child for integration into the adoptive family.
